"""squash/soc2.py — Track D / D6 — SOC 2 Type II Readiness.

Sprint 18 (W218–W220).

SOC 2 Type II is the single most-requested item in enterprise procurement
(MEDDPICC). Without it, most $50K+ ACVs cannot proceed to contract.
Squash already has the building blocks: signed attestations, hash-chained
audit log, policy engine, RBAC, uptime monitoring, and drift detection.
Sprint 18 wraps them in the AICPA Trust Services Criteria catalogue and
produces an auditor-ready evidence bundle on demand.

Trust Services Criteria (TSC) overview
---------------------------------------
    CC1–CC9  Common Criteria (Security)  — 38 objectives
    A1       Availability                —  3 objectives
    PI1      Processing Integrity        —  4 objectives
    C1       Confidentiality             —  2 objectives
    P1–P8    Privacy                     — 18 objectives
    ──────────────────────────────────────────────────
    Total                               — 65 objectives

Evidence status
---------------
    COVERED squash component directly satisfies the criterion
    PARTIAL squash partially covers; manual evidence supplements
    GAP not addressed; remediation note provided
    NOT_APPLICABLE criterion is irrelevant for SaaS AI tooling

Architecture
------------
    ControlStatus      — COVERED | PARTIAL | GAP | NOT_APPLICABLE
    Soc2Control — one TSC criterion with squash mapping + status
    Soc2ControlCatalogue — all 65 controls; .by_category(), .coverage()
    EvidenceItem — one piece of collected evidence
    ControlDossier — all evidence items for one control
    EvidenceCollector — W219 evidence pull engine
    Soc2CoverageReport — W220 readiness output
    Soc2EvidenceBundle — W220 auditor ZIP builder

Usage
-----
::

    report = Soc2CoverageReport.build()
    print(report.summary_text())

    bundle_path = Soc2EvidenceBundle.build(output_dir=Path("./evidence"))
    # → evidence/squash-soc2-bundle-2026-05-01.zip
